We make the running part easy! Park for free at our office, pick up your bib and shirt from us (no waiting in line!), and make your way to the start line. Spectators can watch from here too!
Run or Walk!
Ballast is happy to sponsor our clients and friends entry in the Bluegrass 10k, 1-mile fun run, or virtual race. When signing up, choose BALLAST as your group/team, and use the code BALLAST24 at the end for free registration. We’ll pick up your bib and shirt!

Not running? Have kids? Want to enjoy the day without the hustle? Join the Ballast tailgate before and after the races! We’ll have snacks, coffee and drinks, kids games, a face painter, and more. All are welcome!

- 7:30 a.m. | Bluegrass 10,000 8:30 a.m. | 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
- 8:30 a.m. | Memory Laine Face Painter Starts

- 12 p.m. | 4th of July Parade on Main Street
The Rundown
WHO: Ballast Clients and Friends – Non-runners, friends and family are welcome to park and watch from our office!
WHAT: Race in the Bluegrass 10k or Fun Run/Walk and parking lot party at Ballast
WHEN: Thursday, July 4th from 6:30-11:00 a.m.
WHERE: Tailgate at Ballast, races start near Phoenix Park at Main St/North Lime.
