Chief Compliance Officer & Director of Operationsjoe@ballastplan.com
After leaving the small, southeastern Kentucky town of Middlesboro to attend the University of Kentucky almost 30 years ago, Joe has never left Lexington and resides here with his wife, Brenda and two sons, Parker and Alden. He studied Economics while at UK and has since proceeded to work in the financial industry in many different and interesting capacities ranging from office supervision to institutional trading.
Prior to joining Ballast, Joe worked at a Fortune 100 financial firm where he supervised financial professionals throughout Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and West Virginia. In this position, he was tasked with making sure the firm’s client’s best interests were paramount in all financial recommendations. By always carrying a healthy dose of skepticism in his back pocket, Joe is driven to make sure clients are allowed to worry less about their money, so they can focus more on enjoying their family and life.
