Catherine Richmond graduated from Northwestern University with a BS in Communication Sciences. After earning a Master’s in Science (MS) from DePaul University, she managed the cardiology research department as an Advanced Practice Nurse (NP-C) at Rush Medical Center in Chicago for 5 years. Catherine and her husband, Dr. Tyler Richmond, a Lexington native, moved to Lexington in 2011. Here, she first worked as a Nurse Practitioner at Baptist Health before assuming the role of Nurse Educator for Kaplan, Inc.’s nationwide nursing programs.
Now bringing her analytical and client-centered background to financial planning, Catherine has earned her Series 65 license and is currently pursuing her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) designation.
Catherine is a mother to two school-aged girls, Lucy and Tyler Quinn Richmond; an avid tennis player; and loves sailing on the Great Lakes, where she grew up. She remains connected to Northwestern University and conducts undergraduate alumni interviews for the state of Kentucky. She and her family have happily resided directly across from the Henry Clay Estate since 2015, and she is currently the Vice Chair for the Henry Clay Memorial Foundation.
