Madeline Flynn joined Ballast in 2021 and serves as the firm’s Director of Communications. She focuses on the firm’s internal and external communications, events, sponsorships, and media.

Madeline graduated from the University of Kentucky with an Integrated Strategic Communications and Visual Studies degree. While in college, she studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland. After graduation, she was a ski instructor in Utah, a sailing instructor in North Carolina, and began her communications career at Red Mile in Lexington as a Marketing Specialist. Most recently, she was the Communications Manager for Leadership Kentucky, a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization dedicated to developing the talents and energies of Kentucky’s present and future leaders.

She lives in Lexington and enjoys painting, the lake, snow skiing, UK football, and being outside with her Boykin Spaniel, Tilley.
